Honest Update
It's been 1 year since i released the demo of Omnitopia.
At the time, i was struggling with money and most of my hope went toward this project, because i wanted to stay free-lance,
hoping that this project would help me getting funds for a time.
That's where i was completely wrong, I was more motivated by financial reasons than passion.
Also i was feeling that i was just making another "tribute" game / clone of things i loved but without its own identity.
I immediately realized that, and started to move the project to Unreal Engine, so the project would be enhanced visually and not bound to RPG Maker limits.
Omnitopia HD test in Unreal Engine
I was happy with the result but i couldn't continue working on it due to my financial situation.
So i decided to stop the development of the game and find solutions for that.
Fast forward to today : I'm way better now but i'm employed so i can't develop at full time like before, If I were to continue
Omnitopia at this rythm, it would be out in 2030 because of the scope of the game.
So, for all these reasons, I decided to pause indefinitely the project. I'm sorry for the people who were waiting it.
That's it for Omnitopia, if you want to talk about it, or continue the project, whatever, don't hesitate to talk to me,
maybe i'll start working on it again one day and finish it, who knows ?
On the other hand... I started a new survival horror project on Unity with an Artist and a Sound Designer.
We are 3 this time, and due to the survival horror genre, it will be more quick to finish this project, also we are proud so far of the results, it has the potential to be a unique experience but i can't tell a lot for the moment so here's a screen instead :

At least this time we have no goals or financial motivations, it will be very niche and maybe only a few people will play it.
I'll create a page in the future to talk about this game, maybe on my itch.io profile or another one, anyway i will announce it here.
I guess i've said everything, until then take care all !
